Yesterday marked the start of week #13 for 2025. If I were filling out my BestSelf or Productive Flourishing journals, this would be the home stretch and thus the final push to the end. As it stands, I'm taking it to wind down. So, this next week I'll be using as my usual "off" week, still working on projects but with less fervor and meticulous tracking. I also won't be writing a blog next Wednesday and will resume on the 9th of April, which is just a few days shy of the 1 year anniversary of Fear No More; isn't that crazy? But I can wax nostalgic on that later. In the meantime, let's review this quarter.
Summary of Major Accomplishments
Skies Over Aefala
Journals
18th/19th Nudon: Written, edited, & posted; 3 405 words

Session 11X: Excluding combat
2.43 hours
13 486 words
Restart of the main campaign, but I don't know what the number is, since I've been counting the solo sessions I've been doing as actual sessions
Aside from Session 105, I did all the transcriptions within this past week alone
Teyr'loch Delter Pach
Most of this first quarter has been dedicated to the writing and development of Cael's performance to their father. Although not indicative of the total words I've written and rewritten, cut and truncated from it, right now I'm sitting at ~15k, though this number includes notes I've jotted for conversations I'd like to have before the performance, so it's probably closer to 13k
Despite a couple of weeks or so where I was stuck on one particular scene, I've finished the skeleton and have fleshed out descriptions up to the 3rd Arc of Act I. From there on, I have a combination of descriptions and bare minimum notes
Did a loooooot of research, particularly on tarot cards
I've chosen a good handful of pieces of music, but I still have more to find
I'm not really sure how many hours I've dedicated to this project, but it's somewhere in the triple digits
Oh yeah, and then I scrapped most of it at the end of January to rewrite it within a different setting
At least I was able to keep some of the scenes
Other
Correspondence between Cael & other characters
Artistically designed the layout of our commandeered castle, pulling inspiration from traditional Japanese castles and manors
Planned and wrote descriptions for Flink's portion of the manor/castle as a surprise to the player
Imported some notes into The Goblin's Notebook
Health & Fitness
Overall I feel like I'm making progress. I'm lifting heavier, and I can see clear muscle definition in areas I couldn't previously. I'm still hovering around the same weight, but the changes have been much more drastic since I've been able to progress with heavier weight plates.
BWS
Transitioned from the Beginner program from January to Intermediate in the middle of February
I then went from doing the female program to the male program, because I very much prefer working upper body, and the female program is geared more toward lower body moves, even when you select "back" or "arms" as the focus
I only do this program 3 days a week, which means full body each and every workout. I'm surprisingly okay with this
C25K/Walking
Week 1: Repeated twice, got to 4'52"/km March 6th
Been getting 8k-10k steps in per day whenever I can now that we're shifting into spring
Hoping to get one more good jog in before April
Meal Planning & Nutrition
Still meal planning every week for the week on the fridge's dry erase board
Tightened my fat consumption to fall within BWS+'s range instead of letting it be over
I was still in my calorie/protein ranges, so I didn't think going over was a big deal; turns out it's been the stagnating factor keeping me stuck at a higher weight than what I'd like
Now the program is yelling at me for losing weight too quickly and even upped the amount of calories it wants me to eat to preserve muscle...
Fear No More
I'm nowhere near where I want to be with this.
Blogs
13 blogs written, including this one
Other
Wawfuls
Not listing any in particular, but there were a number of 'em
Reading
"The DaVinci Code" - Dan Brown
"Legends and Lattes" - Travis Baldree
Currently listening to "Storm Front" from "The Dresden Files" - Jim Butcher
Currently reading "Empire" when resting between sets for weightlifting - Orson Scott Card
What's Working
When meal planning, going ahead and logging the meals I intend on eating for each day of that week so I can determine where I need to add or subtract snacks and whatnot depending on what's already logged
We started planning our meals for the week on Mondays. So, I input what we have planned for lunch each day and then decide what else I personally want to eat around that. It's been working really well so far.
Training is finally starting to pay off; getting heavier dumbbells and moving to the Intermediate program were definitely the right moves
Creating my own personal layout for my planner, including coming up with my own set of questions to answer for review at the end of each week. I can more easily see the areas where I'm thriving and those that need work.
I love my workout bench
What Isn't Working
This section is always the hardest for me to answer....
I'm not sure I'll ever get around to importing all I need to into The Goblin's Notebook. In the perfect, ideal world of my mind, it's a project I dedicate myself to and feel super happy about completing, but in reality, I'm just not sure I have the necessary gumption to follow through with it
Possibly once I finish Teyr'loch Delter Pach?
Maybe?
Will definitely be canceling Skillshare, because I just haven't used it enough to justify the price tag
Moving Forward
I'm not sure if I prefer Wednesdays or Fridays for these posts. Wednesdays have a greater time crunch, which I was hoping would force me to spend less time on writing long blogs, but I also feel like I'm more prone to putting finishing them onto Thursday.
I want to complete Teyr'loch Delter Pach within the next quarter so I can move onto other projects.
I think once I finish that, I'll be able to determine more accurately how I want to move forward and where to direct my attention. Designing Fear No More is pretty high up there on my list of priorities, but so is creating and posting my comic idea.
